Mini Sephora Haul

Hey guys! Today was a very rainy day, so after we sat out in the rain, we decided to head to the mall for some retail therapy before we headed back to school for the week. I decided that I would stop at Sephora, and I don't know about you guys, but I love the little sample section right in the check out area. You can usually get some really good stuff for a low price, and from previous experience, it lasts FOREVERRR, and if your someone who likes to try out tons of new products, like myself, you won't feel bad when you buy another product because there's such a little amount to use. Anyways, I got 4 different things, and spent a total of $46, and for someone who usually buys drugstore makeup, I was a little surprised. But, I got over it and I'm so excited for my new products!

All the items I purchased

BadGal Lash by Benefit- $9

They're Real! by Benefit- $10

Korres Lip Butter in Wild Rose- $12

Lorac TANtalizer highlighter and matte bronzer- $12

They're Real! I like the plastic brush on this one,
it's an old favorite!

BadGal Lash, I've never tried but can't wait to!

Lorac

The bronzer seems super blendable, and I like the highlighter

Lip Butter

I LOVE THIS COLOR, it looks so pretty on the lips

Pucker up!

Fall Trend Alert: Plum Lips

Hey Guys! Sorry for the lack of posts this week! Between school and soccer, I find that I don't have any time to get together a post for you guys! I can't even begin to think about next week when I have 5 soccer games! Anyways, my weekend is pretty free so I'm going to be getting a few posts up! Here's the first:

Because of my skin tone, I just discovered that I love the look of plum lipstick on me. I have never tried anything this dark, but I always found that light lip colors made me look dead and washed out :( I was jealous of all the beauty gurus that could pull off all those gorgeous lip colors that I couldn't! But, the other day I was at a friends house and I tried one of her plum lipsticks and I immediately fell in love! This was perfect! I found a color that looked good on me and it was perfect for the fall time! I immediately went to the store and picked up two plum colors. The third was one that had been lying around in my house. I think the reason why plums are so great for fall is because were just getting into the darker months, and wear lip colors that portray that is what it's all about.I guess fall will have to be my favorite season now that my favorite lip color is worn for it! Now here are the pictures!

Here's the first one! This one's a Revlon Lip Butter

Here's what it looks like in the packaging

I really like the look of these because they're like lip glosses but also like a lipstick and they're super moisturizing

I like this one because it's like my lips but better and is very subtle.

The color is Sugar Plum

Burt's Bees

Plum

This one is a tad darker and is has a minty feeling on your lips

... and the swatch!

MAC lipstick!

Super used up, but the name wore off so I don't know it! Sorry!

Very dramatic and dark! Would be so nice for a party!

So pretty!

Autumn Wishlist

Hey Everyone! Just wanted to give you a peak at my current wish list! My birthday is right around the corner so I thought it'd be a good time to post some of the things that I've been hoping to get. A lot of these things are more expensive, but thats because I know I'm not going to get all of them at once , or I'm going to pay for some of them. These are just a few of the things I want.

1. Hunter rain boots in Graphite. We have pretty stinky weather during the winter here so I figure that these would be helpful, and I really like the color because they'll go with a lot of things, and they almost have a bluish undertone, with add a little bit of character.

2. Nikon J3 camera. Right now, I use my Iphone 4 as a camera, so I figured this would be helpful for blog posts, and my friends and I like to have photo shoots so this would be great for that, plus you can buy interchangeable lenses for this one!

3.Black Doc Martens. These are a good staple piece for my closet, and I have a tall pair now and they're so comfortable and super sturdy.

4.Benefit Coralista blush. I've heard so much about the boxed blushes and I really want to try them, I want this specific one because I really love Coral colors and they're pretty during basically all seasons.

5. Iphone 5s. A girl can dream right?

6 Tarte Amazonia Clay 24 hr blush. No specific color for this one, I just love the packaging and want to try out the formulation.

7. Benefit They're Real! mascara. I had the travel size of this one and it lasted me for so long, and it's my favorite! Really want the full size one now!

Thanks for reading ladies!

Brand Rave: Wet N' Wild

Hello lovely ladies! My post for today is going to be what I call a "brand rave". It's going to be a series of posts where I talk about some of my favorite brands of makeup, or clothes, or basically anything. Let me know what your guys' "brand raves" are in the comments and maybe it'll be featured in the next post! Now, onto the rave! Wet N' Wild has been around as long as I can remember. In fact, it was probably one of the first brands I bought makeup from, and it continues to be an old stand by to this day, a few years later. The great thing about this brand is you get products that are super cheap but they are great quality! Some of my favorites throughout the years have been the concealer, the lip glosses for sure, and the eyeshadows. I can't wait to be able to try out all the products that Wet N' Wild has to offer. They even have a beauty ambassador program that you can check out here. All and all, it's a pretty good brand.

Some of my current favorites from the brand:
One of my favorite palettes is called Walking on Eggshells. This is a palette with three colors, one for the crease, one for the browbone, and one for your lid. My favorite from this palette is the lid color because it's said to be an exact dupe for Stila's "Kitten" shadow. This is a nice shimmery light pink color, and it stays on your lids all day. These shadows have amazing pigmentation with and without a primer. I also have the Knock On Wood palette, which is another three color palette that focus' on more of a burgundy color, so it'll be perfect for the fall time.

My next favorite is the is the Mega Liner Liquid Liner, in number 863. I find this kind of hard to use for actually lining my eyes, but what I really like this for is small decorations around the face like on the Walk Like an Egyptian tutorial, I used this liner to create dots under my lower lash line., and I will definitely be featuring it in tutorials to come!

Next up is the MegaLast lipstick. I have this one in Red Velvet, and the staying power of this stuff in amazing! The red color that I have works so well, even though I almost never wear red. It'll stay all night if you need it, and the best thing is that it it only costs $1-$2, much line everything else from this brand which is one of the many reasons why I love it so much.

Lastly, is the concealer. This stuff is absolutely amazing! I believe its $1.99 but don't hold it against me! This stuff conceals all your redness, and it has amazing staying power! It doesn't look cakey! I will go back to this again and again.

I hope you guys loved this post! Please leave me more feedback in the comments and let me know some of your favorites products from Wet N' Wild so that I can try them!

Review: Revlon Photoready Cream Blushes

Hey everyone! Today I have another review for you! These are the Revlon Photoready cream blushes. So, these come in three colors: Pinched, Flushed, and Coral Reef, and I managed to snag all three of them! These run from about $10-$13. I picked one up at Rite Aid, with a buy one get one 50% off coupon, and then I grabbed the other two on sale for about $5, so not a bad deal at all. I love these blushes. They are sooo pigmented, and whats great about them, is you can build them up from a sheer finish, to a dramatic one, depending on what you like. The staying power is great, and I usually like to set these with my ELF blushes. To apply these I just create three dots of product along my cheekbones, and then blend. If I feel like the coverage is too light, I just add another layer. It's that easy! These blushes are my everyday go to blushes, and with just these three, you'll have one for every look. Even though they are a bit expensive for a drugstore product, a little goes a long way, and these are the only blushes that you'll need.

Coral Reef- Bright orange coral color, blends to a sheer coral, can be built up to almost a florescent orange
Pinched- Light peachy color, very natural looking. Perfect for a no makeup-makeup look. Can be built up to be just the tiniest bit dramatic
Flushed- Hot pink color, goes on very pink, use a light hand, unless your going for a doll-like look. Still really love the product.

Top to Bottom: Coral Reef, Pinched, Flushed

Top of the packaging.

Walk Like an Egyptian: Halloween Makeup Tutorial

Hey guys! Today, I have a tutorial for you! Yay my first tutorial! This is a really simple tutorial for if your going to a halloween party, and it's not too much! Please, please, please, give me as much feedback as you can! I really want to make my posts as good as I can. I'm sorry for the pictures, some of them its hard to depict what I actually did, but feedback can help me! If you have any suggestions for the pictures, I'm open, as I am a newbie! Lets get into the tutorial!

First start off by priming your eyes. I used the ELF eyelid primer,
it's only $1 and it works well, and has great staying power!

Next I swept Bootycall from the Naked 2 Palette all over
the lid up to my brow bone to just start off with a nice wash of color, and the good
thing is, if you mess up, just sweep some Bootycall right over the mistake!

Next, I put a color from another Urban Decay palette
into my crease. The color is Honey and it's a nice
shimmery yellow color, it gives the look a
little pop.

Next, from the Naked 2 palette, I mixed Tease and Snakebite,
putting that into my crease as well, but focusing that
more on the outer V.

Next I lined my eye with a thick liquid liner,
and created a pretty large wing, and you can't tell
from this picture but I also lined the outer half
of my lower lash like, creating a small wing under
the bigger one.

I then took Peace, from the second Palette and
put that on the inner half of my lower lash
line, blending the liner and shadow as best
as I can.

Then I took a Wet N' Wild teal liquid liner and just dotted
that under the black liner on my lower lash line.

I then filled in my brows with Tease and Busted, to create
a very dark brow, for a more egyptian feel.

The last step is add Revlon Photoready 3-D volume
mascara to your top and bottom lashes.

And your finished! I like you all liked my tutorial thanks for checking in!

Review: L'Oreal Total Repair 5 damage erasing balm

Alright guys, confession... I straighten my hair pretty much every single day.. I know, I know, it's super bad, but I honestly hate my natural hair. It's really... Big. I like having nice, sleek hair that's easy to manage and looks nice, so I straighten it. The only bad thing about this is my hair gets damaged very easily , and within a week of getting my hair cut, it's rough and feels damaged. I know I should use a heat protectant, but honestly... I forget. So, I started looking for something that could reverse damage, and voila! I found this!

This product works like a dream. All you have to do is, after your done washing your hair, grab a glob of this and work it through the ends of your hair. Wait about 5 minutes and rinse it out. That's it. You'll notice an immediate difference in the texture of your hair after the first use. It's almost like it seals the split ends. My hair is so much easier to brush now, and it's very soft and smooth! When I straighten it, it looks like I just got a haircut that day, and it feels like it too. The greatest thing about this product? You can get it for about $5-$7 at the drugstore and that lasts a pretty long time! I've had mine for maybe a month and I use it everyday and I'd say I'm about half done with it. Now, if you don't straighten your hair or your hair isn't as bad as mine was, you don't have to use it everyday, and once a week will suffice, but I prefer to use mine like a conditioner. I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Let me know what your favorite hair products are below!

*Welcome*

Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by! I'm so excited to be starting this blog because I've literally always wanted to! I guess I'll start off by telling you a little about myself!

First is first, I love anything that has to do with beauty, especially fashion! Although I don't plan to major in anything related to it when I go to college, there's something about it that makes me so happy. I'm a sports addict. I can't really imagine what it's like to not play sports, although I do know what it's like to be out for about a half a year because of an ACL tear. If you guys want a post on that, let me know. My favorites are soccer and swimming. I'm a varsity swimmer and I swing varsity and jv soccer, so not too shabby! ;) I'm not the best in school, but I'm trying really hard to do good this year, most of my problem was probably organization which I have gotten better at already! I've always been a good reader. My first major series I read was Harry Potter, and I started that in about second grade. I love the Hunger Games series now though. In school I take mostly honors except for history, and this year will be my second year of Latin, which is very hard! One of my other obsessions is Vera Bradley, I don't know why... But it just is. I just started watching Teen Wolf and it's soooo good! Everyone please check it out! I would like to make an Allison Argent lookbook sometime. The only high end makeup I own is the Naked 2 palette and it's definitely worth the money. My sweet sixteen is going to be a Mardi Gras theme, and my dress is gold, and my grandmother is making it. If you guys would like to know anything more about me, leave your questions in the comments down below!
