They're Real! vs. Bad Gal lash Ft. Benefit

Hey guys! So I know for a long time I've been saying that I would be back with a new post and blah blah blah and I know that I lied but I am now! I'm finally on winter break and I have a ton of time to put together some new posts for you guys. I know that I said a while ago that I would do this one but now I finally have it, and also I have my own laptop now so that makes everything so much easier so I don't have to use my parents computer. Although I would like to say that I'm sorry for the quality of the photos, because I have been using my iPhone to take them. I think (hopefully) I will be getting a camera for christmas so that will be so helpful! Okay! Without further ado! A POST!!!
So this is the two together, as you can tell I only have the
mini versions but Bad Gal cost $9 and They're Real! cost
$10 so they're around the same size and the same price. I actually
prefer the packaging to the Bad Gal because its sleeker and I like
the black rather than the slate gray.

Here is the brush for the They're Real! and I prefer this to the
Bad Gal. This is a plastic one while the Bad Gal is the bristle
type. I find that this can get each lash better and closer to the
roots. I really love They're Real because it really does give you that
false lash effect and it doesn't clump at all. It's very buildable so
you can have very natural lashes to super false looking lashes
but it will never clump.

This is the brush to Bad Gal. I don't like this one as much.
It's a lighter mascara, and I feel like it gives you almost no length
I like using this one as a base just the give a light coat before
I use They're Real. This one didn't give me any length, curl, or lift
all it did was darken my lashes, while with the They're Real! I saw  tons
of curl and especially lengthening and a little lift, but I think that with
everything other you can totally justify They're Real

A drugstore dupe that I found for They're Real was
the Revlon PhotoReady 3D volume mascara. The only difference
that I really saw was that this one clumped a little, but what can you
expect from a drugstore dupe thats almost a quarter of the price
of the real thing? Plus, you can just brush your lashes out so it's
not such a big deal.

Here's the brush, and as you can see its pretty similiar, with the plastic bristles that I love.
It's pretty close to the same but the brush is skinnier and the bristles are also skinnier so
it's harder for them to grip to your lashes, but with an extra coat you can get the same
effect as They're Real!

Thank you guys so much for sticking with me! I really want to know what you guys want to see on my blog so let me know in the comments and I'll be sure to check it out! Make sure you subscribe to my blog to get me to 500 subscribers! Thank you guys!

Christmas is coming!

Hey guys! I know that again, I have been MIA but I actually forgot about my blog for a while! I know I know, I'm so sorry! I will be getting back into today! As a matter of fact, I will be going out today to get some products for reviewing from the drugstore, because I finally have my license! Let me know what you guys would like reviewed from the drugstore and I'll be sure to pick it up! Like I said in the title, Christmas is coming! I know not everyone celebrates, and thats perfectly fine but I'm very excited! I have a feeling that I will be getting the Nikon 1! This will allow me to do OOTD, and I won't have to take all the pictures on my iPhone! Do any of you guys have this camera? Let me know how much you like it and what lenses you would suggest getting for it. I don't know anything about cameras, but hopefully I'll being taking a photography class next semester so that should help! I love doing photoshoots with people, and I wish my sister would do them with me but she refuses! How rude ;). Also! As many of you guys know, the Naked 3 palette came out! Have any of you guys tried it? Is it worth it?

Recently I have been obsessed with the show, 90210. I know, I know, classic makeup obsessed teen move right? I just love the fashion and the drama, and especially the hair and makeup. I especially like Adrianna and Silver's short hair, and their makeup is gorgeous! Do any of you guys watch the show? Would you like show inspired makeup and outfits? Let me know if you would like show inspired outfits or anything from any show, because I would like to do that for you guys. I love recreating looks.

Okay guys, I have to go out to get your review products, but I'll be back later tonight with first looks at a few goodies! Make sure to subscribe!

P.S.- I was thinking about starting to put videos on here so I can show you guys stuff easier, what do you think? Let me know in the comments!

BH Cosmetics Review

Yay! Two posts in one day! This one is a review on the BH Cosmetics 120 Color eye palette, and this one is the third edition. I bought this from a Hautelook sale for $15, and its usually around $30, so I got it for half off which is a great deal. This is my first BH Cosmetics product, and I can truly say that I'm impressed. The colors had a pretty good payoff, and most of them had great pigmentation. While some of them left something to be desired, I think most of them were great, and for $15, I really can't complain.
One of this things that I love about this palette is that your always finding something that you didn't know was there before. Even after having it for a few weeks, looking at the colors to get swatches,  I found some really interesting colors that I didn't even notice were there before, and that being said, you can always come up with a different makeup look.
I really like that this has a variety of fun colors for makeup for halloween, and dark colors for smokey eyes, as well as neutrals for everyday wear. If this was the only palette that you had for your entire life, I don't think that you would be held back one bit on the possibilities of the looks you can create, and for $15, who cares if one shadow is a dud. It's not really putting you out.
I found that these shadows have great staying power, and were even on after gym class, and playing a strenuous game of ultimate frisbee! I noticed zero creasing whatsoever and my shadows looked great all day.
All and all I would give this a 4.5 out of 5 because there are a few dud shadows, but most of them are AMAZING and I would highly recommend this product to any beginner makeup artist.

This is the top part

And the bottom

Thanks for checking out my blog! What would you like to see reviewed next? Leave it in the comments and I'll be sure to get to it!

Princess Jasmine Halloween Tutorial

Hey guys! So I'm finally back, and with a super fun post this time! A halloween tutorial! This one is inspired by the Disney Princess Jasmine who is my all time favorite princess. I'm a Disney junkie for sure. I own all the classics on VHS and I've been to Disney world 8 times. My all time dream is to work there as one of the Disney Princesses, and that is a possibility for me once I've graduated high school. Some more big news, I turn 16 in exactly a week! I'm having a sweet sixteen party that's Mardi Gras themed and I can't wait! My dress is GORGEOUS and my grandmother is making it. It's sparkly and gold, and my heels are classic black patent leather. I will definitely being doing an outfit of the day that day. Let me know if you guys want to see how I'm doing my makeup because I can definitely make a tutorial for that! I'll be sure to post pictures from the party! But for now, lets get going on this tutorial!
First start off with an au naturale face

Next, do your usual face routine.  I use Maybelline Dream Fresh
BB cream, and milani highlighter, and Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

Then I used the Lorac TANtalizer to make my face look darker
just like Jasmine

Next I'm using Blackout from Naked 2 to do my eyebrows.
I know these look crazy but, these are cartoon eyebrows,
so you can tone them down if you want!

Next I took this white ultra crayon and placed it all over my lid and blended
it in, using it as a base

I took the color my brush is pointing at from the BH cosmetics 120 3rd edition
palette and placed it on my eyelid

Then I took Peace from a limited edition Urban Decay
palette and place it right on top to make it pop a little
more

Then with a small contour brush, I took this color and put
that in the crease. For this I used scotch tape to create a sharp line,
as you can see in the picture below so that it looks cleaner and more
princess like.

Next I took this purple from the same BH cosmetics palette, and I placed it
in my crease but I didn't blend it, I just patted it on, to give a little more color.

Next I took this cream eyeshadow from Ulta in the color
Shimmering Topaz and with the smudge brush I dragged that
across my lower lash line, This is key because it really brings
together the entire look in my opinion.

Next,  I reapplied to tape to that sharp like and applied a
thick cat eye. I reapplied the tape so that I could make the wing
go along the shadow line

Next, I took Verve and applied it under my brow bone

Self- Explanatory. I applied my favorite mascaras, I would suggest
falsies for this, but I didn't have any on hand so I made do with
what I had

Next I applied a dark plum lipstick from MAC, and I have
no idea what it's called... Sorry!

And your done!

Thank you for stopping by my blog! Please subscribe! Let me know what halloween tutorial you would like to see and I will be sure to do it!
